What can I say about Jersey. It is a spectacular place to visit. Understated, but spectacular. Every restaurant, or pub we visited was out of the ordinary! Compared to England, restaurants are more more expensive, but the service, the food…the food. Wow. It is just so good. Not only does it taste so much better, but the quality, the portions and the freshness just surpass what I have experienced in England. The same can be said about the visit itself. In England, you get the feeling that everything is working, but it is just about working, like a juggler entertaining a crowd with one too many juggling balls. The whole act looks impressive, but it may just fall apart at the slightest error, or misjudgement. Jersey on the other hand comes across as self assured, in control, and well off. Not posh, but well off and welcoming to visitors and your money, especially if you have a trust! I love this place. Glen Rhynes
